With todays economy it is easy for clients to try to find people who can clean their houses on their own. It sounds good because the client thinks it will save a little money.
Think about this if one of the employees who works for a cleaning company approaches you to clean your house for less money it sounds like a good deal, but it is not it is stealing.
I know that may sound harsh – but it is true. A real cleaning company has many costs in order to run the business and bringing you on as a client is just on of them. If this person is willing to go behind the person who has helped them get a job what else are they willing to do in your home?
Bottom line, is it is theft – so before you decide to take them up on the offer – make sure you understand the ramifications of your actions – at the end of the day you want the quality service and professionalism and when you hire someone in the regard it hurts the industry.
Also, when you work with individuals you must be careful with time and liability – you are now and employer and you must be careful because this opens up an whole new area!
Just a quick note – stick with a professional cleaning company and you will not have issues!
